Aerobic Moves V-Step

Join Fitness Woman will show you the step aerobic moves V-step and
split-v modification, with the help of her Independent Reflection.

There are more steps in aerobics than anyone could ever catalogue. I mean this literally. This is because so many instructors call so many of the same moves by different names.

I might call these steps the V-Step and Split-V, and you might know them by something else. Ultimately it doesn't really matter what the step is called (regardless of whose class you are taking at any given time), so long as you know what the aerobics instructor means when the call is made.

The V-Step is a very basic step aerobics move. To do it, simply start on the floor (usually marching) with your feet together. With each foot, simply step to the outside of the bench (or matted area, if you are not using a bench) on the corresponding sides, and then return to your originial position.

To modify this to the Split-V step, all you do is alternate feet with a step back into a (forward) lunge position. (Click on the video for a one minute demonstation).

You are on your way to becoming a Fitness Woman! Keep up the great work!
