Muscular Development

Fitness Woman gives you tips and tricks for building chest muscles. Muscular development is a critical part of the Fitness Woman's journey toward fitness. I am not talking about creating "unreal" muscle growth, but rather the healthy conversion of your body mass.

Please do not be confused by the idea of converting body mass. Fat CANNOT become muscle. Muscular development means, instead, that you can (through hard work and diligence) change what percent of your body is muscle vs. how much of it is fat.

This is done by getting rid of fat, and then building muscle...

...two separate processes.

Muscular development through weight-training, as well as other methods (Plank exercises for example), will become a natural outflow of your workout as you move closer to your fitness goals.

Learn Step-by-Step instructions for each individual aerobic step.

I have heard many concerns from various students about muscular development. They often look at female bodybuilders, see the bulging muscles, and think that this is how they will end up.

The fact of the matter is that simply is not true. Woman can, with deliberate effort and extremely disciplined fitness lifestyles, reach those sorts of goals.

...But the muscular development I am talking about will not yield those kind of results. Our bodies are not designed to naturally have this happen. Typically, women can build a great deal of muscle and still keep that "girlish figure".

There is nothing wrong with a woman who does, in fact, want to pursue the "bodybuilder look". If this is you, there is much to learn from my site but you may also want to go talk to Mario, of natural-muscle-mass.com. The fact is that there are many benefits to building muscle for a woman. We can focus on muscles that will yield the benefits without detracting from the look we are pursuing by building massive muscles.

One such example of female muscle growth that can be hidden within a very feminine shape is the development of our back muscles through back muscle exercise. This type of focus includes exercises to increase flexibility as well as muscle endurance.

...Working muscles can even help with muscle and joint pain.

When it comes down to it, we as women must decide what our goals are, and then Step-by-Step obtain those results through discipline and hard work. "Insty" results do not last.

The unfortunate truth is that if it is only weight loss you are looking for, and quick results is what you find, the ultimate outcome will most likely not make you happy. If the weight drops off quickly, it is often only superficial weight (frequently it is nothing more than water loss), and much of the time will return.

Losing weight through exercise and better eating habits (where the removal of those pounds is usually a lot slower than what we are interested in) is really where it's at.

As a Fitness Woman, you may have to reprogram your whole way of thinking.

We are told over and over that it is all about what the scale tells us, more than how we feel, how we look, or how our clothes fit.

We must change the way we view fitness as well as muscular development.
